In the Zone – September 2026

Hello Zone 7!

What a summer it has been—and we’re not done yet!

One of the best things about PCA is that there really is no single way to enjoy this club. Maybe your perfect Saturday involves chasing cones at an autocross, preparing every last detail for a Concours, heading to the track, joining a driving tour, volunteering at an event, or simply parking your Porsche next to a few others and spending the afternoon with friends.

So here’s my challenge as we head toward fall: do something fun! Better yet, do something you haven’t done before. Look beyond your own Region and see what our neighbors are doing. Try a Zone event. Take a look at a National event. Volunteer for something. We have ten Regions in Zone 7 and an incredible variety of opportunities right outside our doors.

PCA is at its best when we participate—and there is still plenty of 2026 ahead of us.

🏆 Congratulations Sandy Provasi!

It was my great honor at Werks Reunion Monterey to present Sandy Provasi with the PCA Zone 7 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Sandy is the very definition of the volunteer spirit that makes PCA work. She is a past Zone Representative, an ongoing and dedicated volunteer, and has contributed her time and talents to both Werks Reunion Amelia Island and Werks Reunion Monterey, along with countless other efforts supporting PCA and Zone 7.

What makes this recognition particularly special is where it comes from. Candidates for the Zone 7 Lifetime Achievement Award are submitted by our Region Presidents and then voted upon—recognition from fellow PCA leaders who understand just how much dedication happens behind the scenes.

Sandy continues to give so generously of her time, experience, and skills to PCA. It was truly an honor for me to present this award.

Congratulations, Sandy—and THANK YOU!

🚗 Zone 7 Showed Up at Werks!

Speaking of Werks Reunion Monterey, what an incredible showing from Zone 7!

To everyone who brought a Porsche to be judged, parked in the Corral, or simply came to spend the day surrounded by an amazing collection of cars and people—thank you for being there. Zone 7 was there in full force!

An especially big thank-you goes to the volunteers who helped make the event happen. Judges, grounds crews, setup and cleanup teams, and everyone else working behind the scenes – you are a big part of the reason an event of this size can look effortless to those attending.

Of course, we know it isn’t effortless.

It takes volunteers.

Once again, PCA is fueled by volunteers, and it was great seeing so many Zone 7 members helping make Werks Reunion Monterey a success.

🏁 Zone 7 Autocross Series

There is still racing to be done!

The Zone 7 Autocross Series continues, and I encourage you to take a look at the remaining schedule.

Whether you’re fighting for championship points, trying to shave a few tenths off your time, or have never driven an autocross before, come join us. Autocross offers a great combination of competition, car control, camaraderie, and FUN.

The remaining schedule and registration links are included below.

✨ Zone 7 Concours Series

Our Zone 7 Concours Series also continues as we head into the latter part of the season.

The cars are spectacular, but Concours is about much more than polishing a Porsche. It’s also about preservation, preparation, learning, friendly competition, and spending a day with people who share an appreciation for these cars.

Whether you’re competing, judging, volunteering, or just curious about what Concours is all about, come take a look.

The updated Zone 7 Concours Series schedule, including registration information and links, is here.

🏎️ PCA Club Racing

There is also more track action ahead.

Our PCA Club Racing events offer an entirely different way to experience Porsche motorsports, whether you’re behind the wheel, volunteering, or watching from the paddock.

Information and links for the next Club Racing event are included here. If you’ve never attended a PCA Club Race, consider coming out and seeing another side of what our club has to offer.

🚢 Treffen @ Sea – Pacific Wine Country Cruise

The PCA Treffen @ Sea Pacific Wine Country Cruise aboard the Grand Princess is almost here, sailing September 19–25 2026

This promises to be a very different kind of PCA gathering—great destinations, great friends, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy PCA camaraderie while someone else does the driving!

There will also be portside activities planned for members aboard the cruise, giving us additional opportunities to gather and enjoy the destinations together.

I’m looking forward to seeing many Zone 7 faces onboard—and ashore!

🌊 Treffen @ Sea 2027

Can’t join us this year? PCA is already looking ahead to another Treffen @ Sea adventure in 2027.

I’ll include the 2027 Treffen @ Sea poster below with additional information. Take a look and perhaps start thinking about your next PCA vacation.

🎉 Looking Ahead – Porsche Parade(s)

It’s never too early to start planning your next Porsche adventure.

Porsche Parade 2027 Boise, Idaho, from July 11- 17, 2027

Porsche Parade 2028 Traverse City, Michigan June 18 -24, 2028 has already been announced, and it’s exciting to have another National event on the horizon. Additional information will continue to become available

Parade is one of the best opportunities to experience the full breadth of PCA—Concours, autocross, tours, rallies, tech, social events, banquets, and thousands of fellow Porsche enthusiasts gathered in one place.

More information will be coming as these events get closer.

🔗 Stay Connected

With events happening throughout our ten Regions, the Zone calendar can change quickly. New events appear, registrations open, dates get updated, and sometimes there’s simply something happening in another Region that you don’t want to miss.

Make sure you’re following the Zone 7 Facebook page, along with our dedicated Zone 7 Autocross and Zone 7 Concours pages.

And don’t forget the Zone 7 website—your landing spot for calendars, registration links, Region connections, Zone information, and more.

There’s still a lot of road left in 2026.

Drive somewhere. Try something new. Volunteer. Meet somebody you haven’t met before. And most importantly—have some FUN with your Porsche and your PCA family.

I hope to see YOU at an event soon. Come find me and say hello—I’m pretty sure we’ll find something to talk about.

Until next month…
