Hello Zone 7!
If summer had a soundtrack, it might just be the sound of a flat-six, a healthy 4-cylinder song or even something a lil different than that echoing through a mountain pass, a convoy of Porsches rolling into a Cars & Coffee, or friends gathering after a day spent behind the wheel.
July is one of those months that reminds us why PCA is so special. Across our Regions, members are touring, auto crossing, competing, volunteering, socializing, and simply enjoying the camaraderie that comes from a shared passion for Porsche.
One of the things I appreciate most about Zone 7 is the variety of opportunities available to our members. Whether your interests lean toward driving, concours preparation, driver education, social gatherings, motor sports, or simply enjoying a great road trip, there truly is something for everyone.
My encouragement this month is simple: find an event and participate. Visit a neighboring Region. Try an activity you’ve never experienced before. Introduce yourself to someone new. Some of the best PCA memories begin with simply showing up.
Zone Series Updates
Summer means the Zone Series calendars are in full swing.
The Zone 7 Autocross Series continues with two exciting events at Salinas Airport:

🏁 July 12 – Loma Prieta Region Autocross

The Zone 7 Concours Series also continues to build momentum throughout the season.
Whether you are competing for points or simply enjoying the experience, these events continue to showcase the passion and enthusiasm that make Zone 7 such a special place to be.
🏆 Silver State Concours d’Elegance – July 12th
The Silver State Concours d’Elegance continues to be one of the premier concours events in our area, bringing together exceptional automobiles, passionate owners, and enthusiastic spectators.

🌴 Concours in Paradise – July 19th
Another outstanding event returning to the calendar is Concours in Paradise.
This event continues to attract beautiful automobiles and enthusiastic participants in a spectacular setting. Whether you’re entering a vehicle or simply attending to enjoy the display, it promises to be another memorable gathering.

🏁 Club Racing & Driver Education at Laguna Seca
Mark your calendars for July 31 through August 2, when Golden Gate Region hosts a PCA Club Race and Driver Education event at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Few tracks hold the history and excitement of Laguna Seca, making this a must-see event whether you’re competing, participating in Driver Education, volunteering, or spectating.

🚗 Werks Reunion Monterey
Monterey season is approaching quickly, and that means another Werks Reunion Monterey is just around the corner. Friday, August 14th.
Werks Reunion continues to be one of the premier Porsche gatherings in North America, bringing together incredible examples from every generation of Porsche history. Whether you’re displaying a car, attending as a spectator, or making it part of a larger Monterey Car Week experience, it’s always a highlight of the automotive calendar.

🚢 PCA Treffen @ Sea – Pacific Wine Country Cruise
The PCA Treffen @ Sea Pacific Wine Country Cruise continues to generate excitement as we move closer to departure.
Sailing aboard the Grand Princess from September 19–25, this unique PCA experience combines travel, friendship, Porsche camaraderie, and memorable destinations.
Several Regions are planning activities and group participation, making this more than just a cruise—it’s a PCA adventure at sea.

🎉 Looking Ahead: Porsche Parade 2028
While we’re enjoying a busy 2026 season, it’s never too early to look ahead.
PCA has announced that Porsche Parade 2028 will be held June 18–24, 2028, in Traverse City, Michigan.
Traverse City is known for its beautiful shoreline, scenic roads, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding summer weather. More information will become available as we get closer, but it’s exciting to see another great Parade destination on the horizon.
