Hello Zone 7,
December! Can you believe it?
Another year in the books. I do hope yours was FULL of PCA & Porsche experiences. I’ll tell you mine was! Visiting the Regions, so many different/unique and fun events, taking part in the Zone Autocross and Concours Series, Club Races, Parade, Treffen, even Treffen at Sea. I am so fortunate to be YOUR Zone Rep. Most of all the friendship of old and new friends I have kept and made along the way. My PCA “family” just keeps getting bigger. I look forward to meeting you at an event in 2025. What are you planning on doing?
Zone 7 is unique in that we are the only Zone that has an Autocross and Concours Series. I wanted to thank all who participated, those who volunteered to help and to the hosting Regions. These Series have Zone Chairs who work tirelessly to make these events a success. Please join me in thanking Brant Ballentine (Zone 7 Autocross) Chair and Simone Kopitzki & Roy Schauben (Zone 7 Concours Co-Chairs) for all they have done in 2024.
Thanks again to Richard Chew, our Zone 7 webmaster, and a trophy winner at this year’s awards presented at Parade. If you have looked at the Zone 7 website, he is instrumental in its effectiveness.

Thank you to Howard Thomas, the Zone 7 Treasurer, for your years of volunteering. Some of the behind-the-scenes activity and function of the Zone have changed and we will no longer have a treasurer.
The Region Presidents and their Boards/Chairs/Volunteers and everyone who took part in club activities deserves a big thank you as well.
As schedules are finalized … I’ll post info.

A BIG date for 2025 is PCAs 70th Anniversary on September 13th. Look for lots of information and news about this from PCA National and your local Region.
