About this event

PCA-GGR Autocross #7 a Zone 7 Event: Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Crows Landing NAS sponsored by Porsche Redwood City.

  • Registration opens at 6:00 pm Pacific on Monday, August 18th for PCA members driving Porsches in Zone 7 Classes.  Registration is $100 with a $15 discount for current PCA members driving Porsches in Zone 7 Classes.  Event capacity is 75.

  • Registration opens Friday, August 22nd for “Fun Class” including non-PCA members.  Fun registrations are $100 and will be waitlisted after 15 toward the event capacity of 75. 
  • We are not offering first-time “Student” driver registrations for this event as we will have limited capacity for instruction.  
  • Novice drivers – drivers who have successfully participated in at least 2-3 events, already driven solo, and are experienced working the course – are encouraged to register, with the reminder that no formalized instruction will be offered.
  • Registration closes at 8:00 pm Pacific on Wednesday, September 10th, or when our limit of 75 participants is reached.  Fees are non-refundable after registration closes.
  • This is an all-day event.  Morning only or afternoon only participants are not allowed. 
  • Sandwiches will be provided.  Bottled water will be available.



  • PCA-GGR uses the PCA Zone 7 Car Classification System.  Confirm your car classification at zone7.pca.org/autocross-rules/ before registering.
  • This is an all-day event.  Morning only or afternoon only participants are not permitted.
  • Car sharing – drivers sharing a car will run in different run groups.  Each driver is required to register separately, indicating at registration that they are sharing a car, and with whom (LastName, FirstName) they are sharing.  Drivers in shared cars must run with separate car numbers. 
  • If there are multiple people in a car at least one must be a trained PCA Zone 7 autocross Instructor.

  • Note that PCA-LPR (Loma Prieta Region) will host their AX#7, Zone 7 autocross at the same location on Sunday, September 14th.  See msreg.com/2025-LPR-AX7 to register.  Attend both events for a full weekend of Zone 7 driving fun.

PCA-GGR Event Schedule (tentative plan – subject to adjustment):

  • 7:00 am: Site Opens
  • 7:00 to 7:50 am:
    • All drivers and guests must pass through check-in on arrival, show their confirmed Speedwaiver and make their own way to the paddock areas. 
    • Course set-up is in process: Drivers, please respect and allow this exclusive time for the course designer, set-up team and safety staff to do their work without questions and distractions!
    • Cars are emptied of loose items and prepped for running.  Cars and driver helmets are accessible in paddock area(s) for safety inspection by Tech staff.  
      • Drivers ensure car numbers on both sides of their cars are readable from 75 ft (~8″ high bold numbers with painter’s tape that contrasts well over the car color).
  • 7:50 to 8:30 am: Course available for walking.  All drivers should walk the course at least once if not twice (allow 15 min per walk at a good pace).
  • 8:00 am sharp: Course walk led by the Chief Instructor starting at the trailer.
  • 8:40 am: Mandatory Drivers Meeting at the trailer.
  • 8:55 am:
    • Drivers in Run Group 1 get their cars on grid (chevron pattern in grid area).
    • Drivers in Run Group 2 promptly check-in for work at the trailer, get their work assignments and radios, and quickly get out to their respective workstations.
    • Safety Steward (or designee) visits workstations to ensure workers understand areas of coverage and where to stand for safety when course is hot.
  • 9:00 am: First car from Run Group 1 on course.
  • ~10:20 – 10:40 am:
    • Drivers in Run Group 2 quickly get back to their cars, get their helmets, and get their cars on grid in chevron pattern ready to run.
    • Drivers in Run Group 1 promptly check-in for work at the trailer, get their work assignments from staff, and quickly get out to their respective workstations.
  • 10:45 am: First car from Run Group 2 on course.
  • ~12:05 – 12:35 pm:  Lunch break for approximately 30 minutes.  Sandwiches (selected at registration) and water are provided at the trailer.
  • 12:45 pm: Begin afternoon session
    • Run Group 2 drivers promptly check-in at the trailer for work assignments.
    • Run Group 1 drivers promptly get their cars on grid.
  • 1:00 pm: First car from Run Group 1 on course.
  • ~2:20 – 2:40 pm:
    • Drivers in Run Group 2 quickly get back to their cars, get their helmets, and get their cars on grid in chevron pattern ready to run.
    • Drivers in Run Group 1 promptly check-in for work at the trailer, get their work assignments from staff, and quickly out to their respective workstations.
  • 2:45 pm: First car from Run Group 2 on course.
  • 4:00 pm:  Last car finishes.
  • 4:00 to 4:45 pm: Course clean-up.
    • Course workers stack up all cones in their areas and bring the fire extinguishers, station placards, flags and radios back to the trailer.
    • Course clean-up team completes their work.
  • All times are estimated and are at the discretion of the PCA-GGR Autocross Director.

What to bring:

  • Chair and maybe an umbrella for sunshade.
  • Painter’s tape which contrasts well with your car’s paint color, or printed vinyl / magnetic car numbers.  Car numbers must be visible from a 75′ distance on both sides of the car.
  • Sunscreen, hat, layers for cooler mornings and warmer afternoons, possibly with winds (No RED clothing as that could be mistaken for a safety flag).

Event requirements

All drivers are responsible for bringing a safe car to the event.  Cars must be mechanically sound, in good running order with no significant leaks, and the interior and storage areas must be free of any loose items.  In preparation for the event, please self-confirm that your car meets safety requirements PCA Autocross Safety Inspection Checklist.

Non-PCA Member Drivers please request permission to attend with the Autocross Chair (autocross@pca-ggr.com).  Registration permission will depend on the number of PCA member registrations and extent of autocross experience.  Refunds for registrations in error are at the discretion of the Autocross Chair.

  • HELMETS ARE REQUIRED with a 2010 or newer Snell Certification, which will be checked on Tech inspection.  A small number of loaner helmets are available at the trailer.  A driver’s license may be required in exchange for use of a loaner helmet.
  • All drivers must have their car and helmet inspected and approved for safety by the onsite Tech staff prior to the start of the event.  Drivers without car and helmet inspection stickers and without car numbers displayed on both sides of the car will forfeit his/her run(s) until the issue is resolved.
  • This is a volunteer participation event.  All drivers MUST WORK at an assigned worker position.  Most worker positions require standing for over an hour per session.  Dress appropriately for working outdoors in the predicted weather conditions.  Do not wear red clothing as this could be mistaken as a red flag.
  • This is an all-day event.  Participants are required to take part in both Morning and Afternoon sessions.
  • No Firearms, Alcohol or Drugs permitted!!  No drones are allowed.
  • Note: Drivers without a pre-assigned PCA-GGR seasonal number may select a number from the list of available numbers, which can become their seasonal number pending active participation in multiple events over 1-2 seasons.

Car number, car class, run group and work assignment information will be added to the registration info on MSReg ~2 days prior under “Entries” for the event.

Events run rain or shine.  Refunds are not provided for inclement weather.
