 CA-GGR Autocross #7 a Zone 7 Event: Saturday\, September 13\, 2025\, at 
 Crows Landing NAS sponsored by Porsche Redwood City.\n\n 	Registration op
 ens at 6:00 pm Pacific on Monday\, August 18th for PCA members driving P
 orsches in Zone 7 Classes.  Registration is $100 with a $15 discount for
  current PCA members driving Porsches in Zone 7 Classes.  Event capacity 
 is 75.\n 	See https://zone7.pca.org/autocross-rules/ for 2025 car classi
 fication rules.\n 	Registration opens Friday\, August 22nd for “Fun C
 lass" including non-PCA members.  Fun registrations are $100 and will be 
 waitlisted after 15 toward the event capacity of 75. \n 	We are not offe
 ring first-time "Student" driver registrations for this event as we will h
 ave limited capacity for instruction.  \n 	Novice drivers – drivers who
  have successfully participated in at least 2-3 events\, already driven so
 lo\, and are experienced working the course – are encouraged to register
 \, with the reminder that no formalized instruction will be offered.\n 	Re
 gistration closes at 8:00 pm Pacific on Wednesday\, September 10th\, or w
 hen our limit of 75 participants is reached.  Fees are non-refundable 
 after registration closes.\n 	This is an all-day event.  Morning only or 
 afternoon only participants are not allowed. \n 	Sandwiches will be provi
 ded.  Bottled water will be available.\n\n\n\n\n\n 	PCA-GGR uses the PCA 
 Zone 7 Car Classification System.  Confirm your car classification at ht
 tps://zone7.pca.org/autocross-rules/ before registering.\n 	This is an al
 l-day event.  Morning only or afternoon only participants are not permitt
 ed.\n 	Car sharing – drivers sharing a car will run in different run gr
 oups.  Each driver is required to register separately\, indicating at re
 gistration that they are sharing a car\, and with whom (LastName\, FirstNa
 me) they are sharing.  Drivers in shared cars must run with separate car 
 numbers. \n 	If there are multiple people in a car at least one must be a
  trained PCA Zone 7 autocross Instructor.\n 	Live timing will be available

   Attend both events for a full weekend of Zone 7 driving fun.\n\nPCA-GG
 R Event Schedule (tentative plan - subject to adjustment):\n\n 	7:00 am: 
 Site Opens\n 	7:00 to 7:50 am:\n\n 	All drivers and guests must pass thro
 ugh check-in on arrival\, show their confirmed Speedwaiver and make their 
 own way to the paddock areas. \n 	Course set-up is in process: Drivers\, 
 please respect and allow this exclusive time for the course designer\, set
 -up team and safety staff to do their work without questions and distracti
 ons!\n 	Cars are emptied of loose items and prepped for running.  Cars an
 d driver helmets are accessible in paddock area(s) for safety inspection b
 y Tech staff.  \n\n 	Drivers ensure car numbers on both sides of their c
 ars are readable from 75 ft (~8" high bold numbers with painter's tape tha
 t contrasts well over the car color).\n\n\n\n\n 	7:50 to 8:30 am: Course 
 available for walking.  All drivers should walk the course at least once 
 if not twice (allow 15 min per walk at a good pace).\n 	8:00 am sharp: Co
 urse walk led by the Chief Instructor starting at the trailer.\n 	8:40 am
 : Mandatory Drivers Meeting at the trailer.\n 	8:55 am:\n\n 	Drivers in R
 un Group 1 get their cars on grid (chevron pattern in grid area).\n 	Driv
 ers in Run Group 2 promptly check-in for work at the trailer\, get their w
 ork assignments and radios\, and quickly get out to their respective works
 tations.\n 	Safety Steward (or designee) visits workstations to ensure wo
 rkers understand areas of coverage and where to stand for safety when cou
 rse is hot.\n\n\n 	9:00 am: First car from Run Group 1 on course.\n 	~10:
 20 - 10:40 am:\n\n 	Drivers in Run Group 2 quickly get back to their cars\
 , get their helmets\, and get their cars on grid in chevron pattern ready
  to run.\n 	Drivers in Run Group 1 promptly check-in for work at the trail
 er\, get their work assignments from staff\, and quickly get out to their 
 respective workstations.\n\n\n 	10:45 am: First car from Run Group 2 on c
 ourse.\n 	~12:05 - 12:35 pm:  Lunch break for approximately 30 minutes.
   Sandwiches (selected at registration) and water are provided at the tra
 iler.\n 	12:45 pm: Begin afternoon session\n\n 	Run Group 2 drivers promp
 tly check-in at the trailer for work assignments.\n 	Run Group 1 drivers p
 romptly get their cars on grid.\n\n\n 	1:00 pm: First car from Run Group 
 1 on course.\n 	~2:20 - 2:40 pm:\n\n 	Drivers in Run Group 2 quickly get b
 ack to their cars\, get their helmets\, and get their cars on grid in che
 vron pattern ready to run.\n 	Drivers in Run Group 1 promptly check-in for
  work at the trailer\, get their work assignments from staff\, and quickly
  out to their respective workstations.\n\n\n 	2:45 pm: First car from Run
  Group 2 on course.\n 	4:00 pm:  Last car finishes.\n 	4:00 to 4:45 pm: 
 Course clean-up.\n\n 	Course workers stack up all cones in their areas and
  bring the fire extinguishers\, station placards\, flags and radios back t
 o the trailer.\n 	Course clean-up team completes their work.\n\n\n 	All ti
 mes are estimated and are at the discretion of the PCA-GGR Autocross Direc
 tor.\n\nWhat to bring:\n\n 	Chair and maybe an umbrella for sunshade.\n 	P
 ainter's tape which contrasts well with your car's paint color\, or printe
 d vinyl / magnetic car numbers.  Car numbers must be visible from a 75' 
 distance on both sides of the car.\n 	Sunscreen\, hat\, layers for cooler 
 mornings and warmer afternoons\, possibly with winds (No RED clothing as t
 hat could be mistaken for a safety flag).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent requirement
 s\n\n\nAll drivers are responsible for bringing a safe car to the event.
   Cars must be mechanically sound\, in good running order with no signi
 ficant leaks\, and the interior and storage areas must be free of any loos
 e items.  In preparation for the event\, please self-confirm that your ca
 r meets safety requirements PCA Autocross Safety Inspection Checklist.\n\
 nNon-PCA Member Drivers please request permission to attend with the Auto
 cross Chair (autocross@pca-ggr.com).  Registration permission will depen
 d on the number of PCA member registrations and extent of autocross exper
 ience.  Refunds for registrations in error are at the discretion of the A
 utocross Chair.\n\n 	HELMETS ARE REQUIRED with a 2010 or newer Snell Cert
 ification\, which will be checked on Tech inspection.  A small number of
  loaner helmets are available at the trailer.  A driver's license may be
  required in exchange for use of a loaner helmet.\n 	All drivers must have
  their car and helmet inspected and approved for safety by the onsite Tech
  staff prior to the start of the event.  Drivers without car and helmet i
 nspection stickers and without car numbers displayed on both sides of the
  car will forfeit his/her run(s) until the issue is resolved.\n 	This is
  a volunteer participation event.  All drivers MUST WORK at an assigned 
 worker position.  Most worker positions require standing for over an ho
 ur per session.  Dress appropriately for working outdoors in the predicte
 d weather conditions.  Do not wear red clothing as this could be mistaken
  as a red flag.\n 	This is an all-day event.  Participants are required t
 o take part in both Morning and Afternoon sessions.\n 	No Firearms\, Alcoh
 ol or Drugs permitted!!  No drones are allowed.\n 	Note: Drivers without
  a pre-assigned PCA-GGR seasonal number may select a number from the list 
 of available numbers\, which can become their seasonal number pending acti
 ve participation in multiple events over 1-2 seasons.\n\nCar number\, car 
 class\, run group and work assignment information will be added to the reg
 istration info on MSReg ~2 days prior under "Entries" for the event.\n\nEv
 ents run rain or shine.  Refunds are not provided for inclement weather.
