On behalf of the members of the St Louis Region and the Treffen North America team, we invite you to join us for Treffen Gateway to the West. Experience four days of touring, fine dining, and exploring as we return to the Midwest on September 20 – 24, 2023. You may know it as the home of the Gateway Arch, but St Louis is also a city rich in history where Lewis and Clark launched their expedition and is unique in its jazz music and French creole influence than its New Orleans cousin. We will be touring the surrounding Missouri Rhineland and Mississippi River Valley to take in the fall colors of this region.
Our host hotel is the luxurious, AAA 4-Diamond rated Ritz-Carlton in the trendy suburb of Clayton, about 10 miles west of downtown St Louis. We were able to negotiate a low lodging rate of $235, which will likely be the last low rate we see for Treffen going forward. Casa Don Alfonso, the main on-site restaurant, was featured as 2021 Forbes’ best new Italian restaurant in America. There are over 50 restaurants within walking distance of the Ritz. The city and surrounding region have a strong German influence when immigrants moved into the area in the 1800s. We will be celebrating Oktoberfest in conjunction with our year-long celebration of 75 years of Porsche. Aside from our usual sponsors’ raffles, we are also raffling ten (10) early registration entries* at the closing dinner for Treffen Wine Country in Spring 2024.
